We sell a full foot and toenail fungus protocol that works very well. But in these hard times there is a home remedy that can control and give real relief to difficult cases. And most of these ingredients are found among your cleaning supplies. And a jar of cheap petroleum jelly from your medicine cabinet. Petroleum jelly can be found at any 99 cent store as well as bleach and pine cleaning products. While your there you can get some medicated foot powder, rubbing alcohol and a mist sprayer.
Now granted this is not a natural treatment. And if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend it. But in a pinch you can use this remedy at little cost.
Now the important thing is to be consistent. You need to soak your feet nightly for two weeks straight and apply the salve every night at bedtime as well.
Here is a list of things you will need…………………………………………
A clean plastic dishpan to soak your feet in
salt
pine cleaner
bleach (plain Clorox) or equivalent
bottle of rubbing alcohol
petroleum jelly
a mist sprayer
plastic bags big enough to cover your feet
a pair of old socks
(optional) a small paint brush
some vegetable oil
small jar
medicated powder
a pair of flip flop rubber sandels
Making the salve
place the petroleum jelly in the microwave and nuke for a minute at a time until it’s a thick liquid.Take it out and stir in one to two tablespoons of the pine cleaner depending on the size of the jar. Let it solidify.
Making the spray
in and 8oz spray bottle pour in two tablespoons of pine cleaner then fill with rubbing alcohol.
Making the toenail oil (optional)
pour 2 tablespoons pine cleaner and cover with 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
#1 soaking regimen
Alternate these two soaks every other day and take one day of the week off……………………
Soak 1 – Two tablespoons salt and one tablespoon of pine cleaner in a dish pan of hot water.
Soak 2 – Two tablespoons salt and one tablespoon of bleach in a dish pan of hot water.
soak for twenty minutes. The purpose of soaking is to open the pores and soften the nailbed. As well as kill the new growing fungus.
#2 Salving regimen
(optional) If you have toenail fungus after soaking in the foot bath clean underneath your toenails and trim back your toenails and well as push back the cuticles. With a paint brush, apply the toenail oil under the toenail and over the cuticles.
Salve the foot well with 1/2 to 1 tsp of petroleum jelly salve cover with a plastic bag and cover with a sock. Best to do this at bedtime. You can wash them with soap and water the next day. Don’t step in the shower with them that way you may slip.
#3 Spray and powder regimen
Now remember that the fungus is living in the lining of the shoes you wear and also on the shower pan. To avoid getting recontaminated spray the inside of your shoes a powder your feet on a regular basis to prevent reinfection. Wear flip flops in the shower so you don’t pick up any mold or fungus found in the shower.
